Andrew Lloyd Webber has composed the scores of some of the world’s most famous musicals that have consistently been seen on international stages - from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (1968) to Cinderella (2021). Before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Lloyd Webber had shows continually running for 48 years in the West End, and 41 years on Broadway. He is also one of the only artists with EGOT status, having received Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards. Andrew’s most recent work is the magical Cinderella, which opened in August 2021 in London’s West End. Other globally renowned musicals include The Phantom Of The Opera, Cats, School of Rock: The Musical, Starlight Express, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Sunset Boulevard and Love Never Dies. His work has also been recorded by renowned musicians including Taylor Swift, Madonna. Beyoncé, Elvis Presley & Lana Del Rey alongside many others. He has co-produced many of his own shows, including Cats and The Phantom Of The Opera and, as a solo producer, presented Bombay Dreams - introducing Bollywood composer A. R. Rahman to the Western stage. Lloyd Webber is passionate about the importance of musical education and diversity in the arts. The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation provides 30 performing arts scholarships annually for talented students with financial need and supports projects such as the Music In Secondary School Trust and commissioning research into diversity in theatre.
