Биография

On April 1st 2022 Oli Spleen’s fifth studio album “Still Life” was released. The album covers themes of mortality, grief, life, death, refugees, the environment, nature and mass extinction. It was recorded with Mishkin Fitzgerald and members of her band Birdeatsbaby with guest appearances from Nick Hudson, Tristram Arnold, Stuart Warwick and Merlin & Polina Shepherd. 
 February 2021 saw the realise of "The Eagle & The Dove", featuring three cover songs and guest vocals from The People Underground's Catherine T. "L'Aigle Noir" was Oli’s first attempt at translating a song. 
 In 2019 Spleen released their second studio album "Gaslight Illuminations", a work which incorporates themes of psychological manipulation and the emotional fallout of a toxic relationship. 
 In February 2020 the covers album “Flowers for Foot Foot” was released and in June that year, the HIV / AIDS themed, "Night Sweats & Fever Dreams”. Both feature collaborations with Nick Hudson of The Academy Of Sun as well as Lizzy Carey, Forbes Coleman and Tristram Arnold who plays keyboard in Oli’s band "Spleen”.
