Ben Pol is a leading Tanzanian artist and a fast-rising talent on the African music scene. An award-winning singer and songwriter and a gifted vocalist with a unique style of R&B, his productions keep gracing the top of the radio charts. In 2015 Ben Pol participated in Coke Studio Africa Season 3 alongside 25 top artists from the continent including Yemi Alade, Sauti Sol, and Flavour. Dubbed by Coke Studio Africa the “Tanzania R&B prodigy”. In 2011, he won his first Tanzania Music Award for “Nikikupata”, followed in 2012 by an award for Best R&B Song for “My Number One Fan” and in 2013 took the coveted prize for Best Song Writer. His 2 nominations for AFRIMA in 2015 for Best African RnB & Soul and Most Promising Artist in Africa and his nomination for Best Male Artist in East Africa at AFRIMMA in 2014 makes him an artist to watch in Africa.
