Биография

A pop/rock band from Spain, Revólver was formed in the late '80s by singer/songwriter Carlos Goñi. Signing with Warner Music in 1990, they recorded a self-titled debut album that same year. After issuing "Si No Hubiera Que Correr" in 1992, Revólver started performing acoustic live shows around Spain, releasing an unplugged record called "Básico" in 1993, followed by 1995's "El Dorado" and 1996's "Calle Mayor", which were produced in the U.S. by Thom Panuzzio. After a second live album called "Básico 2", the band returned in 2000 with "Sur", produced by Mick Glossop. In 2002, "8:30 A.M." was released, featuring a smoother, more laid back sound, perhaps partly as a result of Goñi's newly-found relaxed, family lifestyle. Revólver went on to release a string of albums in the following few years, including Latin Grammy nominated "Mestizo", "Básico 3" and "21 Gramos", while in 2011 took influence from the music of North Africa for "Argan". In 2013 RevolveR release an electric live album called "Enjoy" recorded in a Madrid based live concert venue. "Babilonia" is his next album in 2015 and the last one with Warner Music, and "Capitol" the last studio album is recorded with his own label "Compañía de Canciones" and his new management office "Sena Productions". 2019 is the year for the "Básico IV" release. A new unplugged album with the excellence to which we are accustomed.
