Биография
The Odd 910 are for the freedom-seekers, those chasing the warm fuzzy feeling of being on the road to nowhere-in-particular. Their hotpot of mixed musical and cultural backgrounds is a prime example of the multiculturalism found in abundance in London, one of the many recurring themes in their music. Forged by chance encounters and long-time friendships, their mutual tastes, coupled with visions of liberation and revolution create a sensation both reminiscent of something familiar and steeped in something extraordinary. The quartet's shared affinity for authenticity, social and environmental causes and swimming against the current makes for an unavoidable chemistry that transcends the music and manifests a bond typical of kindred spirits. In contrast to their last self-produced EP, “And Then It Dawned On Me”, which featured LA-based duo HARRIETT (veterans Ill Camille & Damani Nkosi), east London social commentator & activist Franklyn and 2nd Exit (rappers and producers Alfa Mist & Lester Duval), their next release - a full-length offering - features no special guests, leaving the canvas entirely to the quartet to work their magic. On their mission to get people thinking, The Odd 910 has crafted a tender and relatable journey rooted in collective empowerment and ubuntu, the sentiment that ‘I am because you are’.
