Since their formation in 2009, Astrophobos have been recognized for their ferocious yet melodic style of black metal. Following their first self-released EP "Arcane Secrets", the debut full-length ”Remnants of Forgotten Horrors” (2014), the pummeling EP ”Enthroned in Flesh” (2016) and the last album "Malice of Antiquity" (2019), Astrophobos are now back with their long awaited third album. “Corpus”, set to be released on November 12th 2021 by Triumvirate Records, is not just a new album. It’s a cross-disciplinary collaboration spanning over several years where sculpture, photography and music intermingles to explore themes of impermanence, death and decay. Teaming up with artists Lisa Wallert and Morgan Norman, the band ventured into these concepts, taking inspiration from their work to write both music and lyrics - that for the first time are entirely in Swedish. The album is released on white vinyl in a gatefold sleeve featuring the artwork of Wallert and Norman. It's distributed worldwide by Sound Pollution, as well as through all major digital services.
