Five individuals with a common goal in mind, to write, produce and perform genre-defying heavy music with an edgy twist in the plot. After releasing their hard-hitting debut EP, "Running on Empty" in 2018, the quintet delivered the hit single "Built to Burn", while having the opportunity to open for acts like Emmure (USA), Betraying The Martyrs (FRA), Alpha Wolf (AUS), Of Virtues (USA), and Proposal (AUS). 2020 saw the scaling down of shows and performances as the world and music industry suffered uncertainty through lockdowns and burnouts! Unfazed, Tariot was back at the drawing board, writing and gearing up with new material. In late 2021, the band headed back into the studio to focus their attention on their first full-length after being signed by label giants - Out Of Line Music (Berlin, Germany). The album was produced at Verta Collective (SG) and mixed/mastered by Nicolas Delestrade (Novelist FR). It musically features heavier grooves alongside metal influences. In September 2022, the band released their first new single - "Alas feat. Tobias Rische" under Out of Line Music. Being signed to Out Of Line Music and on the same roster as titans such as Novelists FR, Emarosa, Cane Hill, Being As An Ocean, Betraying The Martyrs, and Ten56, one can best believe that with a new sound and a new band identity, the quintet shows no stopping and promises to come back even harder and heavier as their new album is slated for release by mid-2023.
