Consisting of vocalist-guitarist King Aloe (Isaac Chiew), bassist Duke Diso (John Paul Kwan), & drummer Bitch Echino (Julian Stewart), Singapore-based rock trio Cactus Cactus draw from a diverse platter of musical heroes to create a dizzying combo of experimental garage-rock fury. Whether it be channelling the unhinged energy of Hot Snakes and dazzling psychedelia of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard or delving into the hip-hop adventurism of Kid Cudi, the band roots itself in a fun-loving approach to rock’s myriad forms, playing with genuine conviction and celebration.
