Peyton James is an American recording artist from Ludlow, Kentucky, who relocated to Monterey, California in 2021. In July of 2019, James released his debut single Haunted. - Demo, with plans to release an album that same year or in 2020 after graduating high school. When the pandemic started, James' life plans changed a bit and he decided to enlist in the United States Armed Forces in October of 2020, and around a year and a half later, released the lead single of his debut album Coping Mechanisms, Feel You Forget Me., on February 4th, 2022, with the album following on March 11th of the same year. His second album Golden Days was released on July 1st, 2022. It was proceeded by the singles T Swift, Sorry That I Threw Away Your Mixtape, and My Number's Still The Same.
