Oldest Surviving Bluesrock Band from North India known for award-winning songwriting+captivating performances (Mahindra Blues, Macau Jazz'n'Blues Fest) ​Big Bang Blues is a Delhi based band formed in 2009 by blues guitarist Sushant Thakur. The band plays ​Blues, Bluesrock and Rock​'n'​Roll music​.​ In 2016 Diyatom Deb replaced lead vocalist Ipshita Roy, as the latter chose to pursue a career in Jazz. The current lineup of the band also includes Archit Agrawal on Bass, Naman Dutta on Drums and Achint Khare on Keyboard. Recently they won the award for the 'Best Blues Song' for Slow is the Tide (feat. Mohit Dimri) at the India Independent Music Awards organized by Artists Aloud.
