Alternative Hardrocktrio from Dordrecht, The Netherlands. Heavily influenced by the planet's rock Gods, The Empyrean has established a mix of heavy riffing, fuzzy bassguitars and penetrating crashes of the drums, which reminds the listener of Black Sabbath, Russian Circles and Tool. Nevyn van Nugteren screams desperately by use of microphone and guitars, while his older brother Ramyc van Nugteren brings warmongering drumbeats to the mix. Jippe van Niel bridges melody and rhythm with a muddy river of riffs and powerchords. The Empyrean always aims for maximum use of the stage, and never fails to entertain.
