Moonloops is the mind of 23-year-old singer-songwriter Sarah Dekker. Armed with a beaten-up guitar and an old MacBook she started recording and producing her own songs in her bedroom back in 2020. Since then, Moonloops has soared beyond her bedroom, recording her EP Little Astronaut in 2022 with Mister and Mississippi's Tom Broshuis, elevating her magical songs to a whole new level. With over 14,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Moonloops has outgrown the bedroom and is ready to share the stories in her head, face to face with the world and the people who inspire her. Her brand new EP “Little Astronaut” came online this spring; an autobiographical record that explores themes such as home, loneliness, friendship, misunderstanding and love with magical songs that keep haunting you. Both her DIY roots and her big dreams are reflected in this new chapter of her growth as a young adult and musician.
