Ilium is an Australian melodic power metal band formed in Newcastle, Australia. Founding member is guitarist-songwriter, Jason Hodges. Adam Smith (lead guitarist, keyboards, bass) joined in 1998. Together they have released 7 studio albums; Sirens of the Styx, Permian Dusk, Vespertilion, Ageless Decay, Genetic Memory, My Misanthropia, Sirens of the Styx re-styxed and EP's Enviro-Metal and 2022's Quantum Evolution Event.
