Hunter Rose is a recording artist, songwriter and performer from Cape Town, South Africa. The R&B/ Soul songstress finally released the first two singles off her upcoming sophomore EP Titled “Forever Yours” & “ Grateful” a few months ago. The songstress celebrates true love on Forever yours, A classic R&B record that has the nostalgia reminiscent of the 90’s. The kick back feel of this timeless record is effortlessly elevated by a bumpy bass drum, warm synths and perfectly paints the picture of young yet attainable love. Grateful offers a more introspective and vulnerable sentiment sung over simple yet sweet guitar chords, composed by Jarrod Fortes. Flash back to the fall of 2020, Hunter released her debut EP titled “Love & Trust” which features production by Maloon the Boom and ECHLN just to name a few. The 8 Track EP blends R&B, alternative R&B, soul and Jazz into a slick and modern body of work that explores heartbreak, passion and love in all of its forms. After the release of this Refreshing EP, the spotlight quickly turned to the songbird after being named Apple Music’s artist of the month. With just over 2 million streams, the Independent songstress is set to release her second Solo EP titled “Butterfly” in April this year with another exciting collaborative EP soon after. Hunter is currently working on her Debut Album, set to be released early Next Year.
