 Created around freestyle songwriting sessions around a fire pit, Soul of the River was formed in June 2002, out of Riverside California, guaranteed to make even the harshest critic get down with the get down. 
 Soul of the River consists of: Brett Dawson, lead vocals and guitar, Steve Hansen, bass and vocals, Mike Doyle, lead guitar and vocals, and Rene Felix, drums.
