Hailing from St. John's, Newfoundland Youngtree & The Blooms have become known for their ability to blend multiple musical genres and produce truly exciting music, while front man Peter Youngtree has become known for his insightful lyrics and ferocious stage performances. Influenced in equal parts by 50’s Pop and Country, 60’s folk revival and 90’s Alternative music, the multiple award-winning Alt-Country band has been growing in popularity since its formation in 2017, showcasing and touring for ever-growing audiences. Songwriter Peter Youngtree was honoured with the “Ron Hynes SOCAN Songwriter of the Year” award in 2020. Youngtree & The Blooms completed a 17-show Canadian tour in Summer 2022 to promote their upcoming self-titled album (release date: October 14, 2022). This album is Peter’s third full-length offering of original music and establishes him as “one of the most engaging new voices within the Americana scene” (Roots Music Canada).
