With the power of a positive message and music crossing over multiple different genres; Sturg and Friends is on a mission to inspire others to become the best version of themselves that they can be and to help unite the masses through music. 
The front man, Evan Sturgeon, began writing these songs after a series of rocky events in his life that eventually led to a spiritual awakening and realization that we have all been conditioned and controlled by a corrupt system since birth. Along with a simultaneous realization that the only way to change the system we find ourselves in, is to change ourselves. 
Change can be scary. And that’s exactly why this music is full of mantras and affirmations designed to aid you through these turbulent times. Along with multiple reminders that our struggles are our mentors, that there’s a purpose for everything that happens and also…that you’re not alone no matter how often it may feel that way. 
Since it’s formation Sturg and Friend has had the honor of sharing the same stage with; Wookiefoot, Mike Love, Dirtwire, Jon Wayne and The Pain, Indubious, The Floozies, Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, Dacota Muckey and The Trip, Aaron Hale, Clusterpluck, Highdeas, Skyler Davis, Brother Mikey, The Stone Sugar Shakedown, Litz, Eureka Strings, and many more with many more to come!!!
