Биография
Erwin Khachikian is a producer/musical director living in Los Angeles. Born in an Armenian family in Iran, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 13. The entertainment world caught his attention early on and was a touring musician by the time he was 23 and his passion for music has led him into different avenues in the music industry. In 2022 he served as the musical director of The Voice Persia (Season 1) and continues this role in different annual events held globally like Voices of Armenia (Los Angeles), Let Her Sing (San Francisco), Eldfesten (Stockholm). As a musician he has performed on major TV shows like The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel and has accompanied Serj Tankian on his international orchestral and rock tours on the piano, performing in festivals Rock Am Ring (Germany), Leeds/Reading Festival (UK) and touring with European orchestras. His own solo project KARMANDAN, active since 2010 has captured the attention and loyalty of a wide Persian audience. His take on Iranian cultural issues and his provocative music videos helped bring his music into the underground rock scene of Tehran and has collaborated with Iranian activists/writers/musicians Yas, Yaghma Golroue, The Ways. His experience working with diverse acts has given him a vast knowledge of genre and style. He plans to continue developing new artists and entertaining audiences for years to come.
