Биография
When Corona wiped out an entire tour and several studio gigs, Wouter Planteijdt got back to songwriting with an even fiercer urge than usual. This led to a second Bullhorn album, Bullhorn II. The album was recorded at the HGB studio with master drummer Mischa Porte and the incredible Gerco Aerts on double bass. Planteijdt normally would have tried out live the new material to help it reach full maturity but that was no option. Instead he came up with a different approach to get his music across to us listeners. Horn players Jan Kooper and Bert Boeren were invited to the studio as well as Leo Bouwmeester, an extraordinary jazz pianist. JB Meijers contributed amazing banjo, dobro and pedal steel parts, recorded in his brand new studio on Bonaire. Monique Klemann and Jeroen den Hengst did background vocals, Rudi de Graaff added a wide range of percussion instruments and on top of it all you’ll hear steaming bluesharp parts by Kim Snelten on a song called Great Zeal. The full album won’t be released until February 2022 but in advance Zip Records will release singles and videos. On July 16 2021 Baby It’s You will be the first Bullhorn II single-release. The song’s lyrics address the frenzy of conspiracy thinking. Mark Limburg made the video which features Sanne Wallis de Vries, Hollands most lauded comedian. Zip Records
