With a prolific discography beyond his years, spanning from mixtape, collaborations to Soundcloud loosies; Singaporean Rapper/Producer Mary Sue’s sound of sludgy, fractured sample loops and stream of conscious writing has continued evolving with every upload. Straying from conventional song structures and standard studio recording, Sue’s releases are better understood as cut fragments of a larger whole; soundtracked voice memos of introspection. Releasing music with London based hip-hop collective “Higher Self”; his 2022 debut album KISSES OF LIFE, garnered critical praise from various platforms such as NME, LIFTED Asia and HipHop-DX.
