Биография
From writing poems in her Grandfather’s Apple Tree (in Coastal Victoria) to now an award winning singer-songwriter, Emily has been honing her craft for over a decade; working hard to stay true to herself while seamlessly releasing timeless songs, deep in honesty and emotion. Learning at a young age that being in the moment and connecting with people through music was something special, Emily has been able to successfully blend the sounds and stylings of traditional country with a flare of modern country pop; full of charm, wit and raw emotion. Equal parts talent and determination, she does not shy away from the tough topics enabling her to create musical masterpieces that are diverse in every sense of the word from awe inspiring stories, enchanting melodies to the flawless delivery. Awards and Achievements: • Semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition • Co-produced and released her debut self-titled EP in 2021 which hit #4 on the Country iTunes Charts • Top 40 Vanda and Young Global Songwriting Competition with single ‘Why’d You Have to?’ • Nashville Songwriters Association - One to Watch • TSA New Songwriter of the Year • Finalist in the Gympie Music Muster’s NAB Talent Search, EKKA Country Music Showdown presented by Ringers Western, Groundwater Kix competitions • APRA AMCOS – BIGSOUND Country SongHubs Participant hand-picked by Milly Olykan (C2C)
