Sammy White has had quite the hand at ‘turning lemons into lemonade’. Despite the challenges of COVID19, the 2020 Toyota Star Maker Winner has remained determined to make the most out of her bedazzled crown. Since getting the green light with easing restrictions, Sammy has been performing at festivals, opening shows for Aussie artists, touring regional Queensland with Brooke Schubert and supporting a 33 date sold out tour from Cairns to Canberra with Brad Cox. Maybe it’s her roll with the punches attitude? Or maybe it’s all about the music? Either way, White’s songwriting style is 'all in, hard truths' and her live show is the perfect balance of old fashioned country music storytelling with that modern Australian Country sound we all know and love.
