RACES formed in the fall of 2009, started by singer/songwriter Wade Ryff. Originally formed as an impromptu group assembled for a one time performance, this haphazard ensemble of 6 musicians (Devon Lee, Garth Herberg, Oilver Hild, Breanna Wood, Lukas Ventura) decided to continue playing together, eventually writing and releasing their debut album "Year of the Witch" via Frenchkiss Records in 2012.
