Nikhil Melige aka Khi Lo is a 24 year old rapper-turned-singer/songwriter from the DMV. His story begins as a model student: never really fitting in but yearning for something greater. At the age of 16, after losing a dear friend to suicide, he decided not to wait any longer. Khi Lo's first raps were written over J. Cole’s Villuminati and Let Nas Down instrumentals. After a brief stint in a high school rap group, the rest was history. Khi Lo has cut over 100 professionally mixed and mastered tracks since then, with his most recent punk-influenced project Rosslyn+ (Deluxe) catapulting him from 500 monthly listeners pre-Covid to nearly 25,000 today. After the release of the focus track Winona, Khi Lo collaborated with east coast production house dogged contender on a cinematic music video that garnered viral cult attention: 20,000 plays in 2 weeks to be exact. Khi Lo is more than a product of raw talent, he’s a driven wordsmith and crooner dedicated to crafting ballads that tug at your heartstrings... and people have noticed. Along his journey Khi Lo has received many major co-signs from industry secrets like Noochie, BIGBABYGUCCI, Johan Lenox, Thavoron, RoeShamBeaux, and hyejin.
