Molotov Jive was a part of the garage rock revival scene in Scandinavia during the 00’s. Hailing from Karlstad, Sweden, the band signed with Swedish indie giant Bonnier Amigo Music when the members were still in their teens. After the release of debut single The Luck You Got the band toured pretty much nonstop from 2006 until 2009. Together with bands like arctic Monkeys, Sugarplum Fairy, The Dirty Pretty Things, Razorlight and Glasvegas. The band returned in 2012 with third album STORM, produced and recorded in America by Tool producer Sylvia Massy. That album showcased a heavier post rock sound than previous albums. Since STORM the band has been on hiatus with front man Anton Annersand releasing solo material under the name Annersand.
