The Frick Fracks are an all femme, 4-piece group from Southern California, comprised of singer/bassist Devan Renae, drummer/singer Samantha Martinez, keyboardist/singer Madeleine Lewis, and guitarist Gaby Nava. This genre fluid band gathers influence from dream pop, indie rock, and alternative sounds to create a unique musical experience, and an all-inclusive atmosphere for their listeners. In 2016, lead singer Devan Renae set out to create space for more female artists in their local music scene and eventually met Samantha, sparking her interest to teach herself drums in order to be a part of the project. Samantha then later invited her childhood best friend and lifelong musician, Madeleine, who immediately jumped at the opportunity to be a Frack. The band is now complete with the addition of talented guitarist Gaby Nava and they have plans to release their debut album by the end of 2023. Stay tuned, xoxo.
