Биография

Apotheus are a metal act based in Portugal. The group was founded in 2008 and after recording some demos, they finally hit the studio for their EP “A Quest to Remain” in 2011. After some live shows, the band perfected their sound with their first full-length “When Hope And Despair Collide” in 2013. Fast-forward to 2019, after a lot of national touring and other original works, Apotheus made an international breakthrough signing with Black Lion Records (Sweden) who released their album “The Far Star” on the 31st of October, 2019. The record was recorded at Redbox Studios and mixed and mastered by Jorge Lopes. With “The Far Star” Apotheus take a completely different approach with this being their first conceptual album. After years of polishing the concept, preparing the live show, blending melodies with the story and emotion, “The Far Star” is now presented at its fullest.
