Z U L is a band that had its origins in the north of Portugal in 2019. After several changes and a rebranding the band released in 2022 its first single: Hunt, followed by their debut EP - Z U L - recorded, mixed and mastered in Promised Land Porto by Tiago Pintus. The EP recording process and consequent release got delayed several times due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In late 2022 they've released "Vejam Bem". The single was recorded at Oddspace Studio and it was mixed and mastered by Gerson Pereira. The version of this song, originally written by José Afonso, it's a nod to the great portuguese songwriter. The band's current roster consists of a four-piece led by Pedro Rompante (Kurt) on vocals and rhythm guitar, with Cláudio Pacheco on lead guitar, Miguel Machado on bass guitar and Rui Mário Silva on drums.
