Marta Botía is a Spanish singer songwriter who was first known as founder and member of the band Ella Baila Sola, earning great success both in Spain and Latin America, with widely known singles written by her like "Lo echamos a suertes", "Por ti", "Despídete" o "Cómo repartimos los amigos" all of which reached Number 1 in national and international billboards. During the time with her band (now dissolved) this obtained innumerable awards as well as nominations to the most prestigious ones such as Premios Ondas, Premios Amigo (Marta was nominated in the category of Best Pop Author) or Latin Grammys. Ella Baila Sola sold almost five million records. In her solo career she has published 2 albums, "Cumplir lo prometido" in 2003, which was a success with critics and which allowed her for big collaborations such as Enrique Bunbury, Tomatito and Antonio Vega, and the american producer Mark Platí, and later in 2016 came "Martamente" with singles like "Eras un dios" or "De puntillas" being some of the most popular and welcome, and which was first presented in New York, her current residence. Parallel to her solo career she's always maintained Ella Baila Sola alive with tours in Spain and Latin America including the las one with the original members in 2021, which marked the 25th anniversary of the band. After this tour Marta resumes her career always striving for new styles and production, making her new singles highly anticipated by her loyal fans around the world.
