After starting his music career in the garage and punk scene of Chicago and releasing a first self-titled album in 2017, A.M. Son decided to move to LA where he managed to grow primarily as a keyboardist and then as a guitarist, playing for the indie-rock band Mild High Club as well as, more recently, for Pearl & The Oysters. As he toured all over the world, A.M. Son became increasingly inspired by what surrounded him and kept pursuing his personal projects which found a new trajectory during the Covid pandemic. Blending his personal inspirations with his desire of trying to transcend the ordinary and mundane, his dreams and his visual imagination, A.M. Son managed to create a singular album, ‘Edge of the Divide’, marked by a plethora of emotions with strong soft rock, psychedelic pop and dance pop productions. Being released this spring 2023, Edge of the Divide is all about dichotomy. It represents the place where the physical world ends and the otherly begins, where emotions implode between nostalgia and happiness, where we hesitate between finding solace in memories and a strong desire to run away and let it all go. In addition to being a member of Mild High Club, Pearl & The Oysters as well as his personal projects, A.M. Son has also recently worked with emerging artists such as the GRAMMY-nominated singer Omar Apollo on his hit song ‘Evergreen’ or Marina Allen’s new album.
