Биография

A Washington DC-based band, Flowerbomb was founded by Rachel Kline, alongside producer and drummer, Dan ABH. Flowerbomb creates a soundscape for nostalgia and heavy feelings accompanied by lush layers and dynamic sounds. They are known to bend elements of alternative, 90's indie rock, bubblegrunge, shoegaze, and post-punk to create their signature sound. In 2023, they will release a series of singles and a music video from their upcoming sophomore record 'Gloom Scroll'. In addition, Flowerbomb will be touring the East Coast this September with newest additions to the band, that include Connor White on Guitars and Abby Rasheed on Bass and Backing Vocals. Flowerbomb's debut album, 'pretty dark,' was released on Mutineer Records in December 2020. Since it's release, it has been commended for its honest, raw, and vulnerable voice, as well as its genre-blending versatility. 'pretty dark' earned MusicianShip’s 2021 WAMMIE Award for Best Rock Album, and the song “II” was awarded the 2021 WAMMIE for Best Rock Song. Flowerbomb most recently was awarded Best Rock Artist for the 2023 WAMMIE Awards this past April.
