Larry Thurman Pretlow II (born June 19, 1989, in Washington, D.C., United States), is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and politician. He is more commonly known by his stage name LaPret. He was a founding member of the rap group PROFOUND INTENT (2006) and the Hip-Hop duo Keen Starz (2010). He attended the University of Maryland Global Campus for Legal Studies. His career experience includes being the CEO of LaPret World, LLC. Since March 2007 LaPret has been an active writer member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP).
