Биография

Sabrina Song’s music is a blueprint for how to break and unbreak your own heart. Within a constant state of contemplation, Song works through growing pains, self-doubt, and existential dread. The sole producer and writer of her music, Song is a Long Island native now based in Brooklyn. Drawing from singer-songwriter and indie rock influences like Lucy Dacus, Carole King and Mitski, Song makes introspective, cathartic indie pop. With two EPs already under her belt, Song returned in 2021 with her single “Thaw." Featured on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds: Indie” playlist, "Thaw" explores the slowness of healing. Her live performance of the single for NPR’s 2021 Tiny Desk Contest was a favorite of Phoebe Bridgers, leading her to be featured in NPR’s Top Shelf series on All Songs Considered. A regular performer in New York, Song performed a successful string of opening slots for Moon Kissed at Elsewhere Zone One, Hannah Jadagu at the Sultan Room, and Sarah Kinsley at Mercury Lounge. She finished out the year with “Good Night,” inspired by nights out in Brooklyn and the transition in and out of isolation, which premiered in NYLON in October. In 2022, Song performed as an official artist at SXSW, and received attention from i-D, MTVU, and TIDAL's Rising: Pop playlist for her single and video "Doors." Her third EP "When It All Comes Crashing Down" is set for release on December 9th.
