SONS (originally Sons of God) was formed in Muskogee, OK in 2006. Keep Quiet is written and performed by Aaron Newberry, Alex Rust, Jacob Bundren, Jordan McGee and Kyle Laster. Later iterations included Ethan Kattau, Chris Erickson, David Geders and Michael Lopez. In 2007 they would release their debut, The Genesis Prologue. Their first studio album, Keep Quiet with Slospeak Records, charted on the Billboard Christian Rock chart with "Doubt" peaking at No. 7 and "Masters of Flattery" peaking at No. 21. Their last release, an extended play, Keep Quieter features acoustic version of songs from Keep Quiet. Awarding the album five stars from HM, Matthew Leonard states, "Amazing." Scott Fryberger, giving the album four and a half stars for JFH, writes, "Driving rock with some ambience and some honest and passionate lyrics." Rating the album four and a half stars at New Release Tuesday, Mary Nikkel describes, "It is incredibly hard to swallow." Brody Barbour, awarding the album five stars by Indie Vision Music, says, "SONS have redefined the genre of indie rock for me and have created a new standard for any other band to try to top." Giving the album five stars, Brian Morrissette states, "It is a mind-blowing masterpiece." Samantha Esgro of Mind Equal Blown writes, "The overall musicianship throughout the album is astounding for such a young band.
