He describes his music as source music; a sound that connects to the root of musicality and rhythm, entertaining and uplifting people through creating inspiring music that he has become internationally loved and recognised for. He also uses his excellent taste and ear to DJ; playing sets that span multiple genres and styles, creating intoxicating, unforgettable occasions and experiences. Lau has worked with some of the current legends in music including DJ Jazzy Jeff, De La Soul, James Poyser, Dego as well as performing with Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, ?uestlove to name a few. Alongside his production he has also been in demand as a mix engineer as has already worked on several acclaimed albums including DJ Jazzy Jeff ‘M3’, Yussef Kamaal ‘Black Focus’, Masego’s debut album ‘Lady Lady’ and many more. With two full length albums, multiple instrumental LP's & EPs under his belt and a highly anticipated third album in the works, he continues his journey in contributing as an ambassador for timeless music.
