Биография
Anna Nalick is a multi-platinum singer songwriter from California, who in addition to writing all her own music, has been producing and releasing her music independently since 2010. She released her first studio album, Wreck of the Day, featuring her first hit single “Breathe (2AM)” under Sony/Columbia in 2004. The album shot to the top of the charts and sent Nalick on her first tour around the world when she was 19 years old. Her debut album was followed by Shine under Sony/Columbia. In 2011 Nalick released her first independent and co-produced album, Broken Doll & Odds & Ends. The mostly acoustic release exceeded Nalick's expectations with the sale of 30,000 copies in the first month, and it afforded her the time to take a break from touring and go back to school. Nalick studied creative writing at UCLA and worked with well-known playwrights and actors through Los Angeles Playhouse West from 2011-2015. In 2014 Nalick began touring again and in 2017 she wrapped production on her self-produced fourth album At Now which combined analog and digital production. In December 2019 Nalick released her fifth studio album, an acoustic album produced and released by Chesky Records, that she recorded entirely live in a single day. The Blackest Crow, is a conceptual collection of covers from the 1860's to the 1990's. In between touring and recording Nalick continues writing for her sixth studio album to follow The Blackest Crow with plans to begin another self-production in 2020.
