A rock duo from Juiz de Fora (Brazil) that begins as a spin-off of an old band and quickly gains prominence in the way its members wanted to express themselves in music. One less member in the band formation, more fuzz, less another, more BPM in the drums of the songs, another less member, more drop down tunings. Over the years, Broken Gate keeps making rock in its own way: two guys making an organic sound which can have breakfast with the delta blues and can dine with the stoner rock. The band brings as main influences artists like: Royal Blood, The White Stripes, Black Pistol Fire, Far From Alaska, Ego Kill Talent, The Black Keys, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, The Dead Weather and Reignwolf.
