I am the Unicorn Head - Are a two piece Alternative/Indie band from the UK and USA. Their latest project is an ambitious concept album called 'Unicorns in Space'. The album follows the space adventures of two unicorn astronauts. Each song is a episode in the story, and each song/episode continues the story from the last one. Each song also features in a Youtube playlist, that will build into a full musical movie! The band formed at the beginning of the pandemic by sharing music together online, having found similar musical ground on Reddit. The partnership took both members to new levels of creativity that has already produced a large body of work. The genre hopping nature of the music is a direct result of the eclectic musical tastes of the band. Influences include Alternative/Indie/Punk/Post-Punk/Prog/Garage Rock/Krautrock and anything else that catches their ear. Their single 'Omnipresent' is a blast of high energy alt rock that was picked up by Tom Robinson, and played on his national BBC radio Mixtape program. In September 2021 the band featured in the national UK music magazine PROG, as well as on the cover CD. . The band have also attracted a lot attention from music blog sites worldwide. The latest single is called 'Extra Dimensional Overlords, and is an epic slice of math/prog rock, clocking in at over 8 minutes long! From meeting online in April 2021, to front page national press and radio coverage in Sept 2021, this unique band is one to watch in 2023!
