Hi, How are you? I am Trausti & I'm an artist from Iceland. Started writing and performing music when I was 14yrs old after seeing A Hard Days Night on the tv. The fab 4 sparked a fire within my soul that still burns brightly 2 this day. I was a member of the psychedelic rock quartet Lokbrá back in the early 2000's. Lokbrà released the album Army of Soundwaves in 2004. We recorded our second album Fernando in 2006. It was an extremely progressive & psychedelic rock opera. That mysterious album has still not seen the light of day. The next years are kinda hazy. I was a part of the shortlived Hip Hop crew Áhöfnin as well as the indie rock band Pontiak Pilatus. Around 2010 i realised I don't have to be a part of a band to keep making music ... so I went solo. Classic move , right ? 😎 I also started studying audio engineering and slowly after built my own recording studio. At the same time I got heavily into the blues. Discovered artists like Robert Johnson, Junior Wells, Mississippi John Hurt , Blind Willie Johnson and & Sonny & Brownie 2 name a few. I've battled with my mental health & addiction so the blues just spoke to me & taught me a new way to deal with my own blues. Released my debut solo album in 2013. I am pretty proud of it and it was a joy to make. I am working on a new album that will hopefully be released 2023 I am also 1/2 of the indie rock duo El Guapo with my brother Oddur. We released our first single this summer. ✌️Peace&Love❤️
