Initial Talk was born out of a passion for pop culture from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. In late 2017, his unofficial remix of Dua Lipa's "New Rules" went viral, which lead to an official release from Warner Music UK. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Sia, Erasure, Sigrid, and others. His super cheesy retro remixes have been featured in Billboard, The Fader, The Guardian, NME, Popjustice, as well as added to Spotify’s official playlists like New Music Friday (US, UK, Sweden etc), Pop Rising, Night Pop.
