DIMMA is a musical entity whose sound reflects the atmosphere of the long dark winters of Iceland; Hard and heavy, yet chillingly refreshing in all it´s melancholic glory. Founded in 2004 by Icelandic brothers Silli & Ingo Geirdal, DIMMA has released several critically acclaimed studio albums, most of which have topped the Icelandic album charts. So did their live CD & DVD releases with Icelandic punk/rock icon Bubbi Morthens as well as SinfoniaNord, where DIMMA played some of their most epic songs with the support of a 70-piece orchestra and choir.  Along with the band´s energetic live performances, these albums helped DIMMA win the national People´s Choice Awards for “Performers of the year” in 2016.
