Биография
Lotte Kestner is the solo project of Seattle-based musician Anna-Lynne Williams, who spent the previous decade as the singer and songwriter of Trespassers William. Her solo music has elements of her shoegaze past and influences, but lies somewhere closer to folk, relying on multi-layers of vocals to fill in the spaces, rather than electric instruments. Anna-Lynne has collaborated with the Chemical Brothers, Delerium, AFI, Moow, Damien Jurado, Motopony, Anomie Belle, Blue Sky Black Death, Sadistik, and more, and also sings in the duo Ormonde. Her music has been featured in the television series The Young Pope, The Last of Us, The Last Ship, and Catfish, and the films Maybe Someday, Bikini Girls on Ice, I Cannot Go On As I Am, and Epilogue. Her cover of New Order's True Faith inspired the version featured in the video game The Last of Us II. Her latest album, Lost Songs, was released Feb 11, and is a collection of a decade's worth of previously unreleased or unfinished recordings, on her own label Saint-Loup Records. Williams has released three books of poetry and appeared in the film I Cannot Go On As I Am.
