Emerging artist from the treacherous city of Newark, New Jersey, 21 year old Day Real takes the rap game by an interesting angle. Being from a city where the predominant sound is Jersey Club Rap or Drill, he delivers an east coast flow with a fast rhyming pace over southern influence from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, etc. on UK instrumentals. He pays homage to rap’s founding fathers by approaching music with a more lyrical approach. He spreads the message of bringing back art & therapy to music rather than promoting short term trends in the industry. Day started writing at age 10 with the inspiration from poetry books. Being exposed to the streets at a young age altered the well being of himself, and situations throughout his teens leading him to express his anger and pain over beats at 14 years old. In 2018 he collaborated with veteran engineer HeBChi whom he made 4 mixtapes with and over 50 singles. As the years passed and his craft got stronger in 2022 he locked in with underground producer AjShowEm who has been producing his entire catalogue now. Since January he has been unstoppable with 2 singles a month and now preparing to drop follow up album 2.0 to his 2021 summer project Mr. Villain. At this rate Day Real is unstoppable with his catchy choruses and dark or hype verses.
