Lords of Metal described At First's music as 'Sounds of revolution against the status quo'. With a variety of sounds and singing styles, At First tells a story that will keep you interested. Growling riffs are accompanied by alternate grooves creating a modern metal sound. The band's influences vary from bands like Alter Bridge to Rage Against The Machine and Spiritbox to Northlane. Energetic live performances have led At First to win several band contests and share the stage with acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Textures, The Royal and Dool. In the beginning of 2020, At First released their debut album titled Deadline, a reference to everyday pressure in modern society. At First has never been afraid to write music about sensitive topics, ranging from mental health to domestic abuse and the global lockdown to the exploitation of Mother Earth.
