Биография

Singer, eclectic actress, researcher, Tosca began her artistic journey with Renzo Arbore. She collaborated with important musicians such as Zero, Cocciante, Dalla, Morricone, Piovani, Fossati, Chico Buarque and Ron, together with, she won in the 1996 edition of Sanremo Festival. She has released twelve records. In 1997 she won the Targa Tenco as best interpreter. She has an intense theatrical career and played main roles in various acts like I monologhi della vagina, Romana, Gastone, La strada, Semo o nun semo, ‘Sto core mio, The Great Dictator. She is the Director of the Song section in the Officina Pasolini an Academy for Performing and Visual Arts located in Rome. She is the first Italian female artist to be invited to the international “Jazz à Carthage”Festival in Tunisia. In 2018 she collaborated to the soundtrack of Gabriele Muccino's movie "A casa tutti bene", composed by Nicola Piovani with the song "L'invenzione di un poeta"; nominated at David di Donatello 2019. In 2018 toured in Brasil, Portugal and France playing in prestigious clubs where duets with Alice Caymmi, Mariene De Castro, Aline Calixto. In addition, she meets: Marisa Monte, Ivan Lyns, Luisa Sobral, Ivano Fossati. Thanks to this trip the documentary Il suono della voce directed by Emanuela Giordano, presented in 2019 at the Roma Film Festival. She released her new album Morabeza on october 25. In 2020 she partecipates at Sanremo 2020 with the song Ho amato tutto.
