Enoch Root is a NY based alternative-progressive rock band led by the creative force of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Reese Ortenberg. Drawing from influences ranging from bands like The Dear Hunter, Haken, and Porcupine Tree to classic prog rockers like Yes and Rush, Enoch Root has created a unique, surreal and intense listening experience. Charged with powerful melodies, twisting riffs full of ear candy and serious musical chops Enoch Root creates thematically connected long form musical journeys . Their debut album Delusion is a concept album that explores themes of isolation from the outside world, the pitfalls of engaging as a stranger and the delusion we require to live in a world we never knew.
