Formed in 2016, Vedalia is a progressive metal band from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. After playing together for almost 10 years, the original four members Oskar Andersson(Vocals), Oskar Lindmark(Guitars), Leo Vedberg(Drums) and Victor Hellholm(Keys) wrote and released their debut album “Radiance” in 2017. They have since then been joined by Simon Åkerlund(Bass), and the band will release their second album “Cormorant” in 2023. “Cormorant” is a concept album five years in the making, and highlights the variety of the band's taste in music. Though mainly metal and rock-influenced, the songs make unexpected twists and turns in a genre-spanning manner. The album was mixed and mastered by Tom MacLean(ex-Haken, To-Mera, PSION) of Twelve Tone Studio. The album art and additional graphic design was made by Mark Vedberg.
