MALARKEY is the House alias of UK based DJ/Producer/Songwriter, Sam Butler. After taking a break in 2019 to focus on other projects such as D&B/Pop alias bvd kult , the Covid 2020 break served as a perfect time to rejuvenate the project. Immediately marking his territory, MALARKEY debuted I Got 5 On It, a collaboration with Marc Benjamin that was a Beatport Future House #1 and amassed 1,000,000 Spotify streams. 
 Following on from this success, MALARKEY has seen releases on labels such as HEXAGON and Spinnin' Records, and had his music supported and played by EDM heavyweights such as Diplo, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, Armin van Buuren, Oliver Heldens, Alok, Hardwell, Jonas Blue as well as many more. Malarkey's singles have also been played over numerous radio stations internationally, including BBC Radio 1, Slam FM, Sirius XM and Kiss FM. 
 His most recent records, MONEY and Shackles (Praise You) on HEXAGON, have both seen his success hit another #1 - this time on the overall 1001Tracklists charts, as well as both records peaking at #5 and #11 respectively on the Global Dance Chart.
