BIOGRAPHY – PROJEKT RAKIJA Projekt Rakija is a band created by and based around producer/guitarist Igor Sekulović. Igor was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina but, as of age 9, had to flee from the war to The Netherlands. With Projekt Rakija he’s melting the best of his both worlds together. Sleazy synthesizers combined with funky beats and melancholic Balkan horns create a a unique, urban Balkan sound. Influences from different music styles such as drum & bass, electro, reggae and ska give the music energy and lets the crowd go wild. Projekt Rakija stands for uniting, no boundaries and drinking the moment.
