If music can soothe the savage beast, then listening to Shimona's music is definitely balm for the soul. With her guitar, ukulele, and exquisitely arresting vocals in tow, Shimona Kee has traveled through the regional musical landscape since 2001, performing in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. After the success of her full-length folk acoustic album, Simply Shimona (2012), her jazz release, A Walk With My Shadow (2014), puts forth something a little more lush, a little less simple.
